As an official club partner, we’ve worked closely with the team to provide dependable support both on and off the pitch, helping ensure operations run safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. This case study highlights how our expertise and proactive approach have enabled us to play a valuable role in supporting one of the region’s most recognisable sporting institutions.

The Challenge

In their constant efforts to improve matchday and training-ground experience for players, supporters and staff, Huddersfield Town elected Majestic Construction for support in the off season.

This included modernising stadium infrastructure, upgrading hospitality areas and replacing ageing facilities across the Accu Stadium and Canalside Training Complex.

The club needed new press ledges and upgraded heated seating across hospitality areas, brand new power infrastructure for a larger stadium screen, support installing this screen and the replacement of a rotting, unsafe wooden staircase at Canalside.

Meanwhile, the club also aimed to reduce waste by replacing the 90,000 single-use water bottles used annual across the side with branded, permanent water stations.

And all of this had to be delivered in a tight off-season window, made more complex by Huddersfield Giants fixtures and a concert thrown into the middle of the Summer.

The Solution

Majestic Construction delivered a co-ordinated, end-to-end solution across various key projects, managing all works within the tight time schedule.

Our approach included full project coordination, ensuring multiple contractors could work without clashes or delays. Majestic collaborated with external suppliers and the stadium’s internal team to ensure complete collaboration.

Infrastructure for the newly-installed screen was put in place, with the team navigating the challenge of an outdated power supply system. Upgraded hospitality and press areas were also put in place, with new ledges and heated seating.

Supporting our partners, a new steel staircase was installed at Canalside, in Everything Together branding, to provide a safer experience for fans. Across the complex, 3 branded water refill stations were also installed to support the club’s sustainability efforts.

The Results

Majestic Construction helped to deliver essential stadium and training ground facility upgrades, all while ensuring complete compliance, minimised risk and contractor collaboration.

This resulted in an enhanced stadium experience for fans and press, with players benefitting from improvements at the Canalside complex.

An on-time, as expected project delivered in the tight timeframes agreed also meant that the client was satisfied, and stronger relationships were built, all based upon trust, clear communication and collaborative project management.
